libafsauthent1 software package provides AFS distributed file system runtime library (authentication), you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libafsauthent1
libafsauthent1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libafsauthent1 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libafsauthent1 *
You will get with libafsauthent1 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
